Looking out my office window at the snow falling, I am comforted by the fact January is half over! Yep, those Southern genes come full force to the surface in winter! I'm a balmy sunshine girl although I do like the occasional scenario of bad weather outside, warm and toasty on the inside, and curling up with a good book. It's hard to imagine those days of sun, green grass and birds singing when the weather is anything but appetizing. It is of comfort, however, to know that "this too shall pass" as spoken by some great person somewhere in time.
I am so blessed to be able to teach at our church throughout the next couple of months and because of that opportunity, I've been studying a lot. I simply can't wait to share with whomever God places before me the beautiful nuggets of spiritual insight He has shown me. To be honest, the colder weather and snowfall has encouraged my studying!
So on we go, my friends! Just wanted to share that this winter month is half through and the days are getting a bit longer.....minute by minute! Stay warm, study God's Word and dream big for outside projects and gardening adventures!
