Grief...it's not all about death
Grief comes to us through the death of a loved one, but others grieve for various reasons; a broken promise of wedding vows; wayward children; aging parents; an untimely illness or possibly an unexpected move or change of employment. The nest is empty...now what?

What if your son was Hosea?
Reading the account of Hosea from the book that bears his name, is tough for a Mom. I can't imagine having God instruct my son to marry a woman that God HImself describes as "an adulterous wife"...! That is almost beyond comprehension. Moms have a constant need to protect their children, at any age, at any cost. But sometimes that gets in the way of God's plan for their lives. Cutting the apron strings is sometimes incredibly difficult and uncomfortable. If you've prayed for your children all their lives, do you really trust God with their future?
