I had fallen behind in this study and finally caught up today studying Chapters 23 through 25. Some things that came to mind:
- the listing of all the laws and regulations was fascinating and reminded me how relevant they are to proper living today as Cindy and Cookie pointed out
- the laws and regulations also reminded me how critical it was that God sent Jesus to us and we can live within God's abundant grace
- how easy it is for us to have eternal life; but the basics are still there - if we truly accept Jesus as our Saviour, we are also to be obedient to God's Word and confess and repent when our human frailities befall us

One more thing - what happened to the Ark? I taught this several years ago during Sunday School and the most plausible answer is it is buried under the Temple Mount. The Temple Mount is where Abraham took Isaac; Solomon built the first temple and where the second temple was built. My study said it was likely the last faithful King, Josiah, buried it beneath the Temple Mount before the final destruction. It is interesting to me that many of the current Jewish leaders, Muslim leaders and Christian leaders all agree on the Temple Mount and the liklihood the Ark is there. It is only the Ethiopian Christians who say they have it.

Good job Dear, keep it coming!
