After a great week in Lynchburg, it is once again time to study and work on the upcoming retreats. God and I had a wonderful time of exploring the word "sacrifice" as I work on the sessions and materials for a couples' retreat in mid-October. I'm excited to have the opportunity to share what I have learned and to be with this wonderful group of Christian friends.
I received an uplifting note in the mail today regarding a dear friend who has read my book. She calls it "a keeper" and her words of encouragement were so appreciated. Then I talked with another friend that admitted she is getting to know me in an entirely different way by reading the devotionals. And as an added bonus I received a gift in the mail of four beautiful silver spoons that appear to be measuring spoons with each engraved with a different word combined with "a dash of"....joy, hope, love and the largest one reads, "and a dash of faith".....it was sent by my dear friend, Willa. And if you've read the book, you will remember the devotional, "Everybody needs a Willa"!
God bless, my friends!
