This question came to mind this morning as I was reading my daily devotions.  The scripture is from Psalm 103 and it reads, "For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."  Being the visual learner that I am, I remembered asking my children when they were babies, "How big are you?"  I would take their little arms and spread them out and say, "Sooo big!" 

As I read these scripture verses I was reminded of this picture again and thought, "Wow, this is the message God wants us to hear!"  It's as if our Heavenly Father takes us into His arms and asks the question, "How much do I love you?"  And with His gentle spreading of our arms, He answers, "Soooo much that I have taken your sins and spread them as high as the heavens are above the earth and as far as the east is from the west!"  Thanks be to God for loving us sooo much He gave His only Son to die on a cross that eternal life could be enjoyed by those who accept this gracious free gift!  God bless, my friends!
