It's raining in Pittsburgh today....and I love the sound of those raindrops on my roof!  There is something about rain that enables me to slow down and have a day of quiet reflection.  I seem to stop scurrying around trying to do twenty items on my "to do" list and look out the window more frequently.  It's almost like the times during the winter when it snows and I don't "need" to be outside.  I often look out over the yard and just watch....

Today I'm thankful that the remaining flowers that are blooming get a drink of water without me lugging buckets of water; I'm remembering that the bulbs I need to plant will be easier to implant with the aid of moist dirt; the task of moving larger plants and/or dividing them  will also be accomplished without much "hard" labor and I can take this day at a much slower pace because a few items will be moved onto another day's work.

Days like today are blessings in disguise...let's find those nuggets of blessings and be thankful!  Have a wonderful day, my friends.  God bless your Monday!
